So apparently I'm now in my second trimester. Woop.
Now I'm not saying overnight I'm suddenly feeling all spritely, but last night when I got home from work I actually had the urge to tidy up a bit and put a wash on. It felt pretty epic. Normally I'm sprawled out on the sofa in my pyjamas the minute I step thorough the door. Sam had to be all funny and ask me if I was feeling alright when he got in. Cheeky sod. I'm hoping it wasn't a one off energy burst and I intend to turn the house upside down and clean every inch of it this weekend if it continues. It has been way too long. We've got to finish painting the babies room as well so maybe we can make headway with that. I will feel so much better with everything organised and clean again.
I still feel sick though. Bored of that. I have this horrible feeling that I'm never going to feel normal EVER again. Which may be ridiculous. And I have a bump which gets a lot bigger/harder when I've eaten so it may just be a food baby? When do you start officially showing?
Had a lovely weekend away for my first wedding anniversary. Very nice to spend some quality time with Samuel. Getting to fall in love with him all over again at the moment, Don't get me wrong, at times he's driving me mad and my super sense of smell is not not helping when he's been wearing the same socks for too long! But most of the time I'm loving him more and more. He's being very kind to me, he always is but now it feels even more special. I know he'll be glad when I'm feeling myself again.
So, I have a couple of months to wait now before any more big milestones happen: finding out the sex and feeling first kicks, so just taking it day by day. Hopefully I will be feeling back to myself in no time and can concentrate on all the things I need to do before I'm the size of a hippo and can't see my toes, let alone do anything productive.
Baby Ace is now the size of a kiwi and I am craving all forms of orange juice. This posh squash called 'Rocks' hits the spot, as do these fancy Santepellgio fizzy blood orange cans. Baby has expensive taste. Oh well, only the best for my little kiwi :)
